Time To Let Things Go???’
Mentally, physically, emotionally – are you harbouring old hurts, hoarding trash and treasures alike, holding too many spinning plates in the air?
We’re loathe to quote ‘that song’ but lady, maybe it’s high time to let some stuff go.
When you keep hold of things or thoughts long past their usefulness, long past the joy has faded; you are in danger of doing yourself some damage. If your life is cluttered with, well, clutter (!), how can you make way for new wonders?
If your wardrobe is bursting with clothes you’re bursting out of, how will you ever feel good about yourself? And if your home or workplace remind you of the old junk lady from the Labyrinth, with the childhood trinkets and forgotten faded fripperies, what does that say about the state of your psyche?
We can all sometimes get to a point in our lives where things seem somewhat stale. By hanging onto old artifacts and energy, we keep ourselves stuck in that same old rut, repeating patterns that no longer serve us and dooming ourselves to life on a loop.
Let us help you to shed that old skin and clear some space for the new you! The true you…the ‘YOU’ you!
Imagine how you would feel if your home or workplace gave you space to breathe and unwind. How much lighter-than-air you could feel if you were able to let go of old annoyances, petty or poisonous. Feel the forgiveness flow through you as you gradually get rid of past pain and hurts you’ve held onto because maybe it just felt good to wheel them out and wallow once in a while? You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.
Seriously, it’s time to ditch it.
It doesn’t have to mean that you don’t value the memories a certain item brings to mind.
It doesn’t have to mean you’re overlooking the things that people have done to hurt you. Hell, it actually means the exact opposite!
If you can, forgive us for using a couple of clichés, namely ‘If you love something, set it free’, and ‘Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace’
We’ve seen it time and time again with hundreds of clients unable to make that leap of faith and let go of the ties that bind, be they visible or invisible. Old habits really do die hard and they can destroy a lot along the way.
So, whether it’s letting go of regrets (and we bet you’ve had a few), anger, grudges or that drawer full of sad, single socks, we guarantee you will only feel relief and reap the benefits of space – in your heart, mind and chest of drawers.
The thought of letting things go can sometimes lead us to plant our feet firmly and refuse to budge – it’s that ‘you can’t make me’ vibe channeling your inner teenager. But that teenager was the old you and I’m guessing you’ve grown since then? (Unless you’re literally still the same height, like us!)
Listen, comfort zones are just that. They’re comfortable.
If you’re finding yourself uncomfortable, trapped, bogged down and over-burdened, we’ve got news for you, sister; you’ve way outgrown your zone! We naturally progress and evolve all our lives. Resisting this flow can cause friction and make us feel lost and left behind.
We see this a lot with our clients and we’ve created a lovely
